Yes, confidentiality is a core principle to ensure a safe and respectful environment.
The program is faith-based, focusing on the Bible and using a bible study called Forgiven and Set Free, but participants are welcomed regardless of their level of faith or spiritual background.
Programs typically run weekly for up to 9-12 weeks, depending on the curriculum being used. Virtual weekend groups are available several times a year. These groups start Thursday evenings and end Sunday evening.
Interested participants can fill out our Interest Form to start the process or take the Free Assessment to see if a
recovery group would benefit them.
An Even Place offers virtual recovery groups, allowing participants to engage from the comfort of their homes, with women who are not in their social circles, and making it accessible to women from various locations.

We do not have a specific time of sharing stories. As we move through the material we will be sharing bits of our stories as it relates to the questions asked relating to the subject matter of the chapter. Sharing is optional however there is much to learn and gain from hearing from all members of the group.
The curriculum helps participants process their emotions, understand God’s forgiveness, and find peace by addressing the emotional wounds caused by abortion.

Yes, women are welcome to join even if they have attended recovery programs elsewhere. Often there are ‘layers’ of healing a woman goes through on her journey to healing and wholeness.
The free assessment is designed to help you identify woundedness in your life. Often these areas go unnoticed or are lying dormant in your heart. If you are struggling with any of the questions mentioned in the assessment it is a good indication a healing group is needed. Even women who are fairly certain their healing is complete come to realize there were indeed pieces missing that hadn’t been addressed previously. To the woman whose heart is open to the Lord He always shows up and brings a greater sense of freedom and purpose through these groups. Take the free assessment here.
